Eco[system] backlinks
A domain's eco[system] backlinks metric is the number of individual backlinks it has from other domains in the ecosystem mapped by the analysis. This means the domain may have backlinks from other domains that are not part of the analysis.
Visualising eco backlinks
In the report interactive, Explore further > Core attributes > Ecosystem backlinks applies the eco[system] backlinks palette to all non-dimmed domains. This re-colouring is relative, not absolute, so 'High' means high in the context of this ecosystem (not the wider web), and excludes principal and competitor domains.
TIP You can use the handles in the colour spectrum panel (see quickstart: the report interactive) to focus the palette on a particular part of the spectrum.
