Eco[system] links

A domain's eco[system] links metric is the number of individual outgoing links it has to other domains in the ecosystem mapped by the analysis. This means the domain may have links to other domains that are not part of the analysis.

Visualising eco links

In the report interactive, Explore further > Core attributes > Ecosystem links applies the eco[system] links palette to all non-dimmed domains. This re-colouring is relative, not absolute, so 'High' means high in the context of this ecosystem (not the wider web), and excludes principal and competitor domains.

TIP You can use the handles in the colour spectrum panel (see quickstart: the report interactive) to focus the palette on a particular part of the spectrum.

All worksheets in the data tables (MS Excel file) for a report that list domains contain an Eco links column for this attribute.
